Privacy
What we do with what you tell us.
This is the V0 commitment. A formal data-handling policy will be published before the London beta launches, in a form that complies with UK GDPR and the equivalent in any future market.
The promise, in plain English
- Your answers are used only to match you. Not for advertising. Not for research. Not sold or shared.
- No first name or photo of you ever appears in another user's match notification. Other users see only your code name and the algorithmic explanation of why you might fit.
- ID-verification documents are encrypted at rest and accessible only to a single trusted operator at Ivora. They exist solely to prevent serial bad-actors from rejoining under a new identity. They are not shown to anyone — including the match.
- Your code name is yours. If you cancel your account, the code name returns to the dictionary and may be reissued to a future user. Your underlying identity record is deleted (or cryptographically anonymised on user request).
- Email collected on the waitlist is used only to invite you to the beta. We will not send marketing. We will not sell the list.
What we collect on this site today
- Your email if you submit it on the home page (used to invite you to the beta).
- Standard server logs at Cloudflare's edge (IP address, user agent, request timestamps — not joined to your email).
What we do not collect on this site today
- No cookies for advertising. No third-party trackers.
- No analytics that identify you personally. (We may add lightweight, privacy-respecting aggregate analytics in future — you'll see the change here first.)
- No social-network pixels or remarketing tags.
If you change your mind
Email hello@ivora.one at any time and ask us to remove your email from the waitlist. We will confirm by reply.
